For over a decade KITCO Fiber Optics
has specialized in the design and fabrication of
fiber optic tools, tool kits and highly specialized
reference cables. We produce ‘private label’ kits
for a number of major connector manufacturers as
well as sell our own broad line of products. Our
training division has taught thousands of students
internationally how to terminate, splice, repair and
test fiber systems both through our in-house
state-of-the-art training facility and mobile
training team.
As a training and tool provider for
both commercial (TIA/EIA) and military
(Mil-Std-2042A/B) fiber optics we have a unique
ability to terminate a variety of connectors and
fiber types ranging from conventional to Blown
Optical Fiber (BOF). Our diverse production and
training staff enables us to quickly address
problems and provide solutions. Our Field Services
experts have over 50 years of combined experience
with commercial and/or military fiber optic
installations. All of our Field Services
representatives are professionally certified through
the ETA (Electronics Technicians Association) and
Delphi Connection Systems (formerly Packard-Hughes
Interconnect).
