Aviation Programmable Oven

The 0721-1305 Aviation Programmable Oven is designed to cure aerospace fiber optic epoxies using a 4 step temperature cure schedule. The oven is pre-programmed with the NAVAIR cure schedule for Epo Tek 353ND epoxy. The cure schedule can be easily changed to meet your epoxy cure temperature requirements. The ramp time, soak time, and cure temperature can be changed within the cure schedule program.
The oven comes with our new redesigned heating block which will accommodate up to 36 fiber optic connectors/termini at the same time. The block will cure 12 of the ST,SC, FC or LC connectors and 24 fiber optic termini.
The following is a list of the fiber optic termini that will fit in the heating block:
• M29504/04 Pins
• M29504/05 Sockets
• M29504/14 Pins
• M29504/15 Sockets
• ARINC 801
• Elio (EN 4531)

Aviation Termination Kit with Programmable Oven

The 0741-8000 Aviation Termination Kit is designed to terminate and/or repair M29504/4 and M29504/5 termini for circular M38999 connectors.
This kit will also terminate the ARINC 801 termini, Elio (EN4531) termini, the M83522/16 ST connectors as well as the approved Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) ST, SC connectors, and LC connectors. This kit contains all of the tooling and consumables required to completely terminate all of the termini and connectors listed above for installation of fiber optics in harsh environments onboard the aircraft. The kit also contains the programmable curing oven that allows for a 4 step temperature cure schedule.

This kit meets and exceeds all of the current military Aviation Termination Kit requirements, and the rugged hard shell
case meets the MIL–STD–810F requirements.

Biconic C-Clip Install Tool

Biconic Cure Adapter

The 0700-1485 Biconic Cure Adapter is manufactured from aluminum for better heat transfer from the oven heater block. In the past cure adapters were made from white Delrin material which could hinder the curing of the epoxy inside the Biconic termini.

The 0701-6035 Biconic Digital Length Gauge is designed to accurately measure the height of the Biconic support cone during the polishing process. The gauge reads in both inches and millimeters.

Biconic Installation Fixture

The 0701-6090 Biconic Installation Fixture is used during the assembly and disassembly of the dual channel TFOCA (FG) connector. The fixture allows the user to compress the springs on the Biconic termini for easy installation or removal of the c-clips.

Biconic Polishing Fixture
