COURSE
OVERVIEW: Our Aviation Fiber Optic Course is designed to meet the requirements of both military and commercial aircraft. KITCO's training
is modularized so that it can be tailored to your particular platform and connector type. This course is industry recognized and approved
for BICSI Cabling Installation Program Continuing Education Credits (CEC's). Industry standards including those of the Telecommunications Industry Association/Electronics Industries Alliance (TIA/EIA) and the National Electrical Code (NEC) are incorporated into
the training and students are offered the option of taking the Electronics Technicians Association (ETA) Certified Fiber Optic Installer (CFOI)
exam. As an additional option, we offer the brand-new ETA Certified
Fiber Optic Fabricator (SAEFAB) exam. Upon successful completion you
will be certified as an ETA Certified Aerospace Fiber Optic
Fabricator.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Our
course is designed for those students who will be installing and
maintaining fiber optic systems and equipment on commercial and
military aircraft. After completing this course, each student will
be able to successfully install, test and troubleshoot fiber optic
cables and systems onboard aircraft. Students will become proficient
in the termination processes for a variety of connectors used in the
commercial aviation sector as well as the military aerospace
program. This course is also designated to meet the requirements of
NAVAIR 01-1A-505.4 Manual.

administer the (brand new) ETA Certified Fiber Optic Fabricator (SAEFAB)
exam. Upon successful completion you will be certified as an ETA
Certified Aerospace Fiber Optic Fabricator.
